New Owner, New Member

Greetings all,

New to the boating world and this forum. Bought my boat in Oct 07, and let me tell you that was the longest winter of my life. Finished up my first season on the water in Sep (had to pack it in early because I'm currently deployed to the Middle East). This is my first boat, I had never even driven a boat or towed anything prior to this purchase. This summer was a dream for my famly and I, and the boat (a steal for the price with 83 hours on it!) is a real peach and more than I ever imagined I would own. I had no idea I could get a toilet, sink, and stern shower on a boat under 22 feet! It's perfect for my family and accomodates us well on long weekend trips to Watch Hill, Block Island, or just up the Connecticut River. I look foward to reading about everyones experiences, reviews and advice on everything boat related. Safe boating.

Welcome! We will have to hook up next year. Wife and I love trailering to the Watch Hill Sandy point area. Also up the CT River as well. Last year was our first experience in these areas and we are hooked. 6' itis has set in.
