Bought a '89 180 BR project boat. Extremely good condition... PO had it docked on a lake and it took on some water. I am planning on replacing the bellows. I replaced the starter and got it running, runs very good. Wife scrubbed and cleaned and is happy:)

Remaining issues...
1) It does not seem to be sucking h20. Going to start with a new impeller, any thing else I should look for?
2) trim is not working...traced it to the solenoids...what's the best way to get new ones?

Thanks in advance.... I can't wait wait for the maiden voyage!

First off, welcome to CSR!

As for the impeller, that is certainly a good place to start. There are dozens of threads on the subject here on CSR, with posts from guys with far more experience than I. Use the advanced search feature & you will likely read helpful hints like......."If the old one has missing pieces, you will need to do your best to find all of the vanes / pieces as they can cause a blockage."

Getting close to my maidan voyage! Couple quick questions...

I replaced the impeller and surrounding components, I am now pumping h20. Where and how much water should be coming out?
