New owner 2007 sea ray 240 sundancer central CA

Wanted to say hi. Just bought 2007 240 Sundancer and this would be my first boat.
Will be looking for tricks and upgrades. Taking it to Don Pedro for first time next weekend and then hopefully out to San Fran bay in October for strgeon fishing.
First have to get used to boat and figure out how to use and clean toilet

As soon as I get it on the water there will be plenty

Took out first time to a local lake ( Don Pedro ) Boat ran great and had a blast. The good lord was watching out and the boat dock was empty on both unloading and loading. Tried to put battery switch on number 1 to save second battery just in case but could not start boat. Had to switch to both to start. Not sure if this is a sign of a low battery.

Could be a week battery or dirty posts and terminals. You might pull and clean all the posts and terminals and put both batteries on a good charger. Check the water in the batteries as well. Is there a tag on them to indicate the age? It may be time to just replace them.
