Absolutlely AWESOME! Great job!

Nice... Did you DIY or pay for it to be done? (I am mostly interested in the tower.) If you don't mind, could you tell us about the tower install, cost, where you had it done, etc.? I am interested in haveing one added, but I think it will be too much $$$ to have done this year.

Wow, very cool. Are the tower speakers Alpine as well? I am guessing that is an aftermarket tower or does Searay actually have a tower like that?

What was the damage $$?

I did it my self with some help from a friend and dad. It is actually pretty easy, and I would recommend this tower to anyone it is completely silent and very strong. Here is the link http://www.monstertower.com/

Awesome job, love the speakers and the running lights for night boarding. Best of luck! Looks fantastic! Why the beer coozies on the pole above the paws?

Now post some pics and vids in the wakeboarding thread I have had going for the last year in general discussion! Unless youre a poser? lol...just kidding. We see so many people buy towers and speakers and only go boarding twice a year.

I bought my Monster last spring and used it all year and this so far, and it is the best tower for the $.

My friend Matt (Slacker on here) bought his and we put it up 2 weeks ago on his boat (the install is like 3 hours) and now my buddy Jerry just bought a boat 2 weeks ago, and is getting his monster installed next week (he got the install as part of the boat purchase).

Thanks for the props. I wasn't sure if they were beer cozies I tried fitting them on my beer but were to big. So I though they mite be for the bottom of the back legs. When you fold the tower down for storage the tower legs wont rube on the boat, and scratching your boat. Have you herd different?

I just got my boat at the end of last year and I was only able to put about 15 hours on it, and 10 of those hours were wake boarding for my first time. I haven't really got any tricks down mostly jumping wtw and some 180 on the water, I think knowing how to snowboard will really help me to progress. I can't Waite to try the tower and see the improvement in air, I will try to get some vids and pics as soon as I can.

I watched some of your vids looks good keep it up....

The back legs and top piece should all fold down backwards to rest on the sun pad. NO CONTACT should be occurring of the legs onto the boat at all during this fold down. You will be fine without the coozies on there :)

The front legs are a bit more challenging. I made a little bungie triangle thing to keep them stable during storage. They can shift around a little, and I was afraid they might pull the paws out if the fell. Probably not, but wanted to be sure.

The wakeboarding is a blast! Are you doing both heelside AND toeside wake to wake? What is your rope length at?

Get the dvd series "the book". It is fantastic! Building a Foundation is a perfect skills developer with really learning your edge. I havent posted any vids yet this year, but I have improved a huge amount since that last vid last year 9/21. I can 180 both waays and ride switch foot, as well as jump hs w2w on switch!

Also, instead of The Book series, the guys who put the dvd's out have a website that is AWESOME! Mike McClin and Kyle Schmidt run Learnwake.com. It has the whole "Book" series on the site, and best of all, these two world renowned coaches will watch videos you post up and give you pointers! Kyle watched my 9/21 vid and wrote a whole post to me on what to change/work on. It worked.

The sit eis like $30 for 3 months but SO worth it!

In any event, have lots of fun! The tower will help with air, but not with anything else. Get the basics down and you can progress rapidly.

Enjoy, best of luck, and regardless of skill level (heck Im no Scott Byerly!) post up some pics and vids.

Does your factory Bemini work with the Monster Tower? which monter tower did you get ?

The factory bimini does not work with the tower, you need to get one from Monster; the good news being it is still made by Great Lakes, which is the OEM for Sea Ray anyway, so they have the same colors available.

Also, I sold my existing bimini on Ebay for $250, and the new one for the tower was only $475 delivered. So I got it for basically half price.

I have the MT2 on my boat I though it was the nicest one. I haven't tried my bimini yet, but just by looking at it I'm pretty sure its not going to fit. I'm wondering if I could make some modifications to the bimini supports so it would fit. I will give it a try this weekend.

Same MT2 here. Th factory one will not work unless you can somehow make the front two poles telescopic. How it works on the bimini from Monster, is the front two arms telescope down to half their size. You then pull it past the back legs of the tower, then pull the arms of the bimini back up once cleared of the legs.

The OEM bimini you have is too tall and will not slip past the legs at all. We tried every which way, and came to the conclusion you would have to do an awful lot of work on the bimini hardware (and most likely purchase smaller poles to make some kind of telescopic entity) that the time and effort and money wa snot worth the trouble, if it even would have worked.

Best to sell off the OEM for around $200 or so on Ebay, and buy the Monster bimini for around $275 out of pocket. Worth it, imo.

Some pics, maybe you can ascertain what I mean from them, how it works. I can get better shots if you would like of the "unfolding" this weekend, step by step...let me know.

In the pics, note that the bimini is mounted on the tower itself, resulting in a much higher point of mount than the OEm on windshield. Also note it open. The only way to pass by the legs is to telescope the pole down to pass them, then up once you get past them to bring to full height.
