New Member on Lake Erie

What's up guys, just wanted to introduce myself.

I just bought my first boat about 3 days ago.

It's a 1989 Sea Ray 280 Sundancer... only 260 hours on the motors, They are Mercruiser v6's 170hp ea.

Anyways, just wanted to say hello to all... and you may see me around the boards from now just trying to learn as much as possible.

Welcome. This is a great site for the Sea Ray enthusiast. I just bought my 300 sundancer and brought it back from lake Erie last Feb. Gotta love a fresh water boat !

Welcome reedickyaluss!....what a name! We hope to bring our 1990 270 to Erie this Summer for vacation. Our son is a senior at Behrend College and was captian of the swim team. He swam the Isle/Bay Swim last summer in a race and finished in the top 10. Hope to maybe connect with you for a tour of the water. We are getting to know the town pretty well. We like Harbor Creek & North East area. We've been to Shades Beach Boat Launch I think and a boat club at Lawrence Park. We've spent some days walking the beack at Presque Isle and it's very nice. We would like to dock in a slip with power and water to stay on the boat for a few days, Mike.

Hello, Congratulations on your boat. Where do plan to dock your boat this summer?

I keep my 2006 Searay 270 AJ docked at the West Pier Marina in Presque Isle State Park. If you happen to be at the Marina Gas Dock look across to Pier #1. The name of the boat is "Living the Dream". My wife and I live on the boat an average of four days a week during the boating season.

Hopefully will make your acquaintance this summer.
