Hello all,
I just picked up an '01 310 and thought I'd jump in to the forums. I'm in Pompano Beach Fl. Would love to raft up and get to meet some of you guys.

I'm a yachting pro and have been in the industry for 9 years. This is my 2nd SR and my 9th or 10th boat.
Thanks,

Welcome.

Unfortunately, Pompano is a bit too far from N. Palm Beach for a raft-up. Hope you enjoy the 310. We have had the 1999 for four and a half years.

Welcome - I just moved to PB myself - my 330 DA is scheduled to be delivered on the 16th, so I'm looking very forward!

I spoke with a few folks on here that are looking forward to some good winter raft offs up in Lake Boca. Keep your ears to the ground and we'll be sure to let you know the next time we're headed up!

I'm on the Ocean Side of the ICW off of Atlantic BLVD and S Riverside. It's beautiful here - especially compared to MI!

Are you right on the ICW? Anything furrther the 200 yards south on the bridge is not a NO WAKE zone. I would not recommend docking your boat directly on the ICW in that area unless you're in the wide area known as Lettuce Lake. Even there you will need a strong defence against wake damage. I live across the ICW and west of the Federal Hwy Bridge. I come out right in your area. Feel free to email directly if you have any questions about the area. Again, Welcome to SFL.

Thanks a lot! Yeah, right on the ICW, just south of the Atlantic Ave draw bridge. I definitely need to keep the boat lifted because some of those wakes that are thrown are monsters!

Are you going to Elliott Key for the Columbus Day Regatta? I will be out there on Saturday morning and coming back Sunday night or Monday morning.

That's a bummer! However, you sure did pick out a nice boat! Good luck with it and keep us updated.

Thank you! It's been great so far in MI, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it works down here in FL!

Hello all, I just aquired a '78 Sea Ray, does need some work. I was wondering if anyone knows what the original motor might have been. It an 18' with a chevy 350 V8. Has an OMC stern drive. Any info would be great.

Hey, Tim. A lift will be a must but you gotta love your view. I'll be sure to keep it down when I go by. We had a great weekend of boating. Anchored up in the inlet and swam with our daugther, ( Rubbing it in ). Enjoy your new place, We'll raft up when you get your boat here.
