You are our first member from down under! We would love to see a few pictures of your boat.
With your HIN number, I can tell you the following:
US= Boat was built for the US market
SER= Vessel is a Sea Ray
P= boat built in Palm Coast Florida plant
469*= this is the serial number of the boat. You are missing one number as this is a four digit entry
K= boat was built in November
9= boat was built in 1999
00 = manufactured as a 2000 model boat
There is also a number below the HIN, that is the internal number for Sea Ray. If you ever needed to contact Sea Ray or a dealer, they will ask you for that number also. The internal number will also tell you what number your boat is in the 2000 model year. For example, on the registry on the first page of the 450 EB thread you will find this HIN: "SERP4675J900 450EB-529". This 450 EB was built in October of 1999 as a 2000 model year boat. The serial number "4675" is just before your boat. The internal Sea Ray number "450EB-529" clarifies this was the 29th 450 EB built in the 2000 model year. Your boat's internal Sea Ray number might be "450EB-531". If you can post a picture of your HIN, I will clarify the information and update the registry. Thank you in advance.
