Hello, I was refered to this site from a gentlman that uses the name (sundancer) great site ! We have just purchased a 1988 searay sundancer 300, nice clean highly optioned low hour lake boat. Cant wait to get her wet. We have been running a 1987 268 Dancer for the last 5 years, great boat, just needed more room and amenities. I have been told that there are a lot of people on this site with the same era 300 dancer. Well, just wanted to say hello. David

Welcome aboard, I have an '88 300 DA also.
I just finished re-doing my interior with new fabric all around and a bamboo wood floor that looks great! I will try to post some pics in a few days. The light bamboo color coordinated well with the darker wood cabinets and really lightened up the interior.

Hello, The floor sounds great, never thought of the bamboo. I was thinking of doing this one in teak and holley. Looking forward to pics. Dave

Hello, Welcome to the site. The boat sounds great. I am also in New England on Winni. The winters are long up here and Ice out can not come fast enough. But, next month I start the interior prepareness to help pass the time.

Welcome From Maryland!

I might be on the Chesapeake Bay but I grew up in Maine all my life so I still consider myself a New Englander! I just cant seem to get these boaters down here to stop throwing crabs into my clam/lobster bake!

Can I get a ride back up to Bar Harbor please?

Lori Taylor

I was just up your way a couple of weeks ago. I looked at another 300 dancer at Fayes boatyard. Was not nice enough for me. Cmon ice out!

Nice looking boat and I'm glad you found us! We're an eclectic group, but we all agree on our Sea Ray!

Docofthebay, please post some pics of the bamboo floor! Our original carpet is starting to show some signs of wear and we'll have to make a decision pretty soon. I'd love to see that!

Welcome we have only had our 1988 300 for about 1 1/2 years. We love it I have done some modifications to here and I have a lot more planned for April when the weather breaks. I have the Euro lounger in mine and as far as I know the only one on this site with a 300 and that option. Does yours have this option, I would like to find out how someone else likes it.

Ken

Never heard of a euro lounger? What is it?

I've never posted a picture. If someone will tell me how, I'll try tomorrow.

You don't have a fold down rear seat you have a seat that has a base and the base can slide out to make a double bed.

Ken

Hi Ken, Yes, I have the fold down seat. My buddie has a 34 dancer, and he has the movable seat box type. Did not know it was available on the 300. Dave

I was actually just looking at bamboo at the store. I put it in my old house and we loved the color and the look. Definitely post pictures if you can! Did you use laminate or solid bamboo?
