Hi im Travis from Flagstaff AZ. Im 22 and bought my 1987 250 sundencer 4 years ago and im on my 3rd motor. I think my new 383 mag mpi with a b3 will be the last one I buy for this boat. "I hope" This is a great site. I Boat at Lake Powell. I try to get up there alot, I spent 50-60 days there last year but I dont think it will be as good this year becouse im working in Colorado for a little while. The drive went from 1hr 45 min. to a 10 hr. drive so it wont be very easy to get up there as much.

Why so many motors?

Wow that is a lot of motors....hope this it the last one for you too! How is the commute from Flag to Powell, we’ve often thought about it; have friends at Bullfrog, but that is a long haul from Phoenix. Do you ever make it down to Pleasant?

Well the first motor was the original. It didnt have enough power and it was getting old. I had that motor pulled, the shop basically tuned it into a 383 stroker motor. I was it selling last feb. and when I was on the sea trial the motor blew. "Not A good selling point" My options were to rebuild that motor or do everything new. I decided to do everything new and keep the boat. I put in a new complete 383 mag mpi, new transom assembly and new bravo 3 outdrive. It all has a warranty and the boat runs really good now. Im very happy with it now but I do want to sell it and go bigger.

The commute is not that bad. It is 1 hr. 45 min. The highway is 2 lanes most of the way. I went to pleasant to test the second motor. You should make the drive and come to wahweap. Depending on where you live in phx. it should only be about 4 hrs.

I thought it was a longer trip to Page from Flag.....seems almost doable.

I'm moving up to Salt Lake City in a few months and hope to do my first boating trip at Lake Powell then. I hope it's a great as everyone says. It looks awesome. Hope to see you around sometime.
