Welcome! Our first boat was a 90 280 with 5.0L engines. The 5.7L are a much better choice! Best of luck with her! Hope it warms up soon...

Great boat, nice bigger boat feel with the 10'6" beam makes for a comfortable cabin. Spent 5 seasons with her she served us well.

Of course she had all the leaks and the headliner that showed them!!! LOL but a great boat! If you have any questions PM me and I'll try to answer them.

HI -
I've just joined!!
I own a 89' 280 Sea Ray Sundancer.

Welcome! This site is great!! Lots of very helpful people and resources.

I myself have an 85 Sea Ray Sundancer 260 that I recently inherited from my dad. I'm doing my best to pick up where he left off with restorations, he had a laundry list plan that I promised him I would complete :) That being said, I'm a very handy gal and I can get around a boat and engine compartment pretty well but having all these expirienced people to ask for advice has been a godsend!

Always happy to chat and I'm a heck of a researcher so if you need a hand finding something, let me know! OR if you are ever up the NE River, swing by, we love visitors!
