Took some pictures this wekend of the new under water lights. Couldn't do the ocean led due to cost, but found some nice 6 bulb lights that work pretty good. Had to use night shot to get a decent pic.

Awesome! I just installed mine yesterday (Coastal Night Lights). I am yet to wire them, but will do that this coming weekend at the dock. I'll be sure to post pics as well!

What sealant did you use? My lights recommended 3M 4200. That stuff sure is messy, but I think it would hold a Mack Truck on the transon.

Sorry, didnt see the last post, I mounted these to the upper lip of my trim tabs, didn't have to drill the hull for these. My boat will have the hull mounted lights, those are awsome looking.

Ah. I ended up putting the wire through the hull. If you ever consider going this route, I highly recommend checking out Coastal Night Lights. Great build quality, great customer service, and the brightness is said to be on par with Ocean LED at less than half the cost.

Here is a picture of mine just after mounting (excuse the dirty underneath - prior to painting).

Rock solid after a 24 hr cure using 3M 4200. Once the weather breaks and I have time to wire, I'll be sure to get some pictures in action this weekend. :smt038

Just mounted my underwater LEDs today - also used through hull and 4200 (After epoxying the holes).

Nice! we are actually in the market for a 30-34' Sundancer. Once I find a nice one, I want to install those, post some pics once you fire them up, would love to see them. I imagine they are pretty bright. Are they white or colored?

Mine are blue in color. I think given the less than clear water at my dock, the blue will look a little better. Will post some pics this weekend! :smt038
