It a water pickup for something. There will be a seacock in the bilge and a hose that will go to something. Maybe a live well? Or a wash down pump?Ok, it’s a small showel wheel inside. And the hole next to it? A hole under the boat feels strange..
The boat was in the water when we bought it, it runs well and we have had no probs so far....Didn’t you have a pre purchase survey performed?
If not ...think about getting one before you do much off shore running.

The "hole" should be on both port and starboard as very heavy duty seacocks, but it appears the pickup has been replaced with a troubling thru hull. I just restored a 90 21' and pulled everything. Plus have schematics from SeaRay.
That would concern me at high speed, would replace and is an easy correction.
So if i understand you correctly it’s a weak thru hull that i have? And your suggestion is to replace it with a heavy duty (in brass?)before anything goes wrong is it possible to get a copy of the schematics from you?The "hole" should be on both port and starboard as very heavy duty seacocks, but it appears the pickup has been replaced with a troubling thru hull. Yes, I think someone took the brass seacock and brass pickup off and replaced it with the transducer and then drilled a new hole and used a thru hull designed to be above waterline. So if i understand you correctly it’s a weak thru hull that i have? no holding tanks on Lagunas unless installed aftermarket....I don't think you have a holding tank, do you? Otherwise I'd say that's your macerator pump discharge.
