New interior 290DA

The admiral picked the colors.... I would have screwed that up for sure!

WOW, looks great!! Need to do the same on my '84 280. How many hours, dollars do you think you have into the rennovation? Did you change out all carpet? How difficult was that?

Finishing a media room in my basement, need a new project.

Very nice, the floor looks great. I know you love photos so I,ve included some of my labour of love and it looks like we had the same fabric! Did you do all the work yourself? I did and at the time I was totally over it but now I look back it was in real bad shape!

Looks lots better Annie...for sure! I removed everything and took it to upholsterer, then re-installed it.

Here is a breakdown on cost:

Vinyl -
dinette - 6 1/2 yds
vee-berth - 7 yds
mid-berth - 4 yds

Sea Quest vinyl 14.99 yd x 18 yd = $269
Bolster & curtain fabric 18.99yd x 14 yd = $266
Allure flooring = $100
Aluminum trim = $50
Labor for dinette, Vee berth, & bolsters = $700
Labor for curtains and 4 pillows = $160

total = $1545

Money well spent.... looks great. Hope you have a good season. We are heading into winter here so last trip tomorrow :(

Very well done! :smt038 Looks even better on a real computer. MM

For those in the Cincinnati Ohio area, I used Darryl Stewart 513-692-9049 for the upholstery work. He was easy to deal with, quick, and inexpensive. His work was good (not perfect but good). I would use him again if needed. Here is one more pic .....because I like pics!

Quint! Nice upgrade! great looking interior. I remember when you joined this site and your boat looks better and better with each upgrade. Love the grey interior!

Thanks...it is actually light beige. I had trouble getting the camera to capture the true colors. I have always wanted to boat on Lake Lanier.....someday.

Very nice. Who did your fabric work?

Looks good Quint!

Looks nice, Dave! Nice bamboo floor, are you going to redo the tambour doors too???

Hadn't thought about the tambour doors......maybe. I bought the fabric for curtains and bolsters locally. The upholsterer did the bolsters and I found a "sewing lady" to make the curtains. She basically just sewed the new fabric over the old curtains.

Hey Dave, great idea sewing the new material over the old curtains! We will be doing our interior over next winter.

Did you change the color on the dinette, countertops? If so how did you go about doing that?
