Hi everyone,

I am having issue to keep idling with my starboard engine. In order to start, I need to throttle up one inch or so and keep it that way the whole time. If I push it down completely, the engine stalls.
The same issue when I get back to the dock with a warm engine or in no wake zone.
Boat runs fine under load, brand new OEM IAC, brand new IAC muffler, new gen III cool fuel module and injectors.
As you may imagine, it’s very tricky to dock the boat that way.
Anybody have encountered this symptoms?

Thank you for your help.

Put a scanner on it and check values. TPS could be out of wack. Maybe the IAC is not receiving a signal from the ecm. Your problem should come to light with that tool.

Agree.

FYI, the IAC only controls things at idle. The fact that you can't start the engine with advanced throttle more than "an inch" has nothing to do with the IAC.
