Hello, new here on the forum.
I may be buying a 1974 240 Weekender in the next couple of days. The boat itself is actually serviceable and has been used as recently as 2 years ago, however the block is cracked.
I was originally told $2000 for the boat. I was not interested.
However, I was contacted again and told $500 for boat, $300 for trailer as they want to move it on and I at least showed some interest.
I will have more info in a couple days. If anyone is interested or familiar with this particular boat, feel free to comment.
I am not afraid of a good project. I am willing to restore this boat. As it is quite classic looking and the ones I have seen updated and restored are really nice looking.
So was this a good boat and will it make a nice restoration project as long as it is structurally sound ?
