Hi,
our old porta potti with deck fitting (to ease emptying) needs to be replaced because it's started to fall apart.
Even though I'd prefer a vaccuflush retrofit - the money involved for such system here in Sweden is just too high.
I'm therefore aiming to use a Dometic 7120 (freshwater head) which use around 1.2L/flush.
Add a holding tank which also involves placing a hose between the head and holding tank. And here it starts to become tricky.:smt100
After being in the boat today trying to measure tank size etc. I realized that there's an area between the engineroom and WC-room that I probably can reach by removing panels in the mid-cabin, does anyone know if that's true and perhaps have some pictures of that area?
It's still quite cold being at the boat this time of year so any information would be helpful in order to prepare for next session.
I also hope that midcabin area gives me access to the deck fitting - because that hose needs to be replaced and rerouted.
BTW! Does anyone know how to correctly seal of the hose that goes through to the engine room, in order to prevent fumes etc to transport back into the cabin?
Regards
Anders
