Just received my 1997 330 sundancer yesterday! Love the v-drives, easy maneuvering over my former twin IO setup. I will be looking to replace the canvas, if anyone has input it would be appreciated.

Welcome to CSR! Great boat, we love ours and use it all the time.

I'd do some thinking about your needs before replacing the canvas. The camper enclosure is really expensive if you have it made locally. You might find it a little cheaper if the company making it already has a template. Look on ebay, I remember seeing some complete kits already made for the 330.

For our needs we definitely use the eisenglass that snaps in between the windshield and the bimini top. We can use the boat a little more during January and February as these pieces cut the wind dramatically.

We use our camper canvas just to keep out the rain and the sun off the vinyl. Once we go to use the boat, we pull the enclosure and stow it under the seats. A cockpit cover would suit us better and once the current canvas starts to break down that is what I'll purchase.

Having a full enclosure adds to the resale value but we plan on keeping ours a while.

Good luck.

Welcome to CSR. I'm another 330 lover. I had two 1996's (the first one got totaled by a BUI boater) and loved both of them.

Installing the snaps is not a hard job. Drill the hole in the right spot, put in the snap, bingo-you're done. Get one of those vise grip snap tools and you'll have it for years to come.

Again, welcome aboard.
