Hello Ladies/Germs. My name is Jay Gadsby. I am a soldier stationed in Fort Hood Texas. Right now I am in the process of selling off my race car project in hope to purchase a 22' Pachanga. I have been dealing with a gent in Maine for a low hour 86 with a 5.7L/Alpha One setup.

I grew up in an 87 with the same powertrain, and loved it. I was the maintainer of the boat growing up and loved her since we got her. When I was in Iraq the 1st time, my step dad decided to sell it, without asking if I wanted to buy it. (I told him before I joined that were he to sell it, I would buy it). Well, the one I found in Maine is the same exact boat, except the color scheme is red, versus the blue I am accustomed to.

I hope to be joining the ranks of all the Searay Owners soon. I am excited about getting back on the water after all these years. Take care and thanks for reading!!

Welcome Jay,

I love the Pachanga! Good luck in your quest. Try searchtempest.com. You can set the radius and your search and it will crawl ALL Craigslist. I've seen some decent deals on Pachangas if your willing to purchase cross country. Just promise you post some pics of her screaming across the water:grin:

Thanks for the welcome guys. I am just waiting to hear back from the owner of the boat right now. I have everything I can think of crossed that this goes through. :) Although, trailering it from Maine to Texas is gonna stink to say the least lol.

Well, the deal has gone through. I just filled out most of the paperwork, now I just need to move some funds around, and we are good to hook. :) I am super excited now!

Congrats and happy floating!

Excellent. Congratulations and Thank you for your service. Now, Register for Aquapalooza. http://www.aquapalooza.com/ It's a can't miss event especially now that you are a SeaRay owner!

I was at the 2009 Main Event here on my home lake of Lake Martin Alabama. It was the most amazing thing I ever attended!

Welcome and it's a great looking boat. Make sure your tires are up to the tow. Check out the trailering thread for some hot tips.

Welcome and Thanks for keeping Our Country Safe.

Congrats!...nice looker. Have you actually seen the boat in person yet?

I have not seen the boat in person (not till next week.) The broker has said the boat is very clean and given me the break down on it all (he is ex-military so I hope I can trust him). Even so, I am a mechanic, so if there is some stuff that needs a fixin, then so be it:)

Also, it is my pleasure to serve the country I love. Thank you all for supporting all of the troops.

I should be able to make it to the Lewisville or Willis events at the end of July. We will see what happens ;)
