It's official. The spouse & I are the new owners of a 2008 240 Sundeck with the 350 mag engine. The dealer will be installing a couple of options and we'll take delivery a week from today. :smt038

I've been lurking for a while and finally ready to update the signature to my posts--soon as I figure out how. We're still debating on the boat's name. At least with the kids, we had nine months to think about it!

We're from Delaware and will be boating along the Chesapeake tributaries. We're not new to boating, but we've always been passengers in the past. We're excited to be here and looking forward to being at the helm!

DreamWeaver sounds as anxious as I am! I can't take pix until we officially take delivery -- a week from today. I promise I'll update by Wed!

But, details include: pewter hull, silver/white interior, mesh helm seats with bolsters & slider/swivel, pump out head (3 girls/1 guy), transom stereo remote, cockpit/tonneau canvas.

Just trying to make sure I'm following the rules, Shining. I read on one of the pix postings that they need to be small (under 500).

Yes, should've taken the fender off first, but we were packing it up. Fender stays in place on the dock b'c we're new (to driving, not boating) and so's our 240SD slip mate. There's no finger in between the two, just a big U. Each is paranoid of hitting the other's 240!:smt018
