New Flooring and Steps Installed

Thought I'd give an update of progress on the floor and step replacement. I am almost done, only the top step to go in and a couple minor finishing items. The steps are solid maple and turned out great!

Looks great! Thought I'd share my pic of verticals for the stairs idea. My vertical carpet on the stairs took a beating and I replaced with it with foam backed vinyl two years ago and it's holding up great. Scuff marks and dirt wipes off easily. Not shown are the carpet runners for the stairs. When those wear out out, I'll replace the stair treads with wood.

My 2000 310 Da had carpet overload gave me the feeling of a 70's custom van. My updating started with ditching the carpet and after that the plywood carpet covered step were next. Wood steps look some much better.
