The 70' Stardust houseboat with waterslide and circus lights is gone and a 96ish 500DA is in. I'm happy.

Next to the 500DA is a 60' Viking motoryacht ...and we have NOT seen anyone aboard in 2+ years.

Have a fairly new but not-one-of-the-stupid-looking 52 Cruiser Express's on my port side. Next to him is a 50' mid-80's Hatt sportfish that has been completely refit inside and out. I need to get some pics of it. new imron, glassed in windows, a sweet new aluminum tube framed hardtop which he designed and built himself--just a pretty boat.

the other end of our pier has 4-5 80' houseboats, 3 other 60' Hatt motoryachts, 460DA, Carver Motoryacht and a 4788 Bayliner motoryacht.

anyone else have anything cool close by?

Surrounded by nothing but Sea Rays! Our Harbormaster moved some boats around to give us most of a shed. We have 9 Sea Rays from our club in a row.

My boat sits in front a 1951 Farmall Super-C, to the left is a '69 Cougar Eliminator with a 390 and to the right is a '70 Boss 302 Cougar Eliminator. Does that count? haha.

In all seriousness I'd love to take a walk around a few of those boats.

All I have is a bunch of freaky live aboards in trawlers (actually some are cool). But this is Seattle. And I'm moving back to Lake Union after my lease expires in March

An older Sea Ray 310 just moved into the slip next to me a few weeks ago and replaced a 20yr old can boat so the neighborhood has definitely improved!!:smt038 That is the only SR on my dock but there are a few more 320/340's on the other docks. Marine Max in Tempe needs to up their game.

I miss the different boats that GTB has.

We had a slip there about 9 years ago, on lake Travis now. It's beautiful here but limited range makes me want to crawl the canyon walls.

Mostly Sea Rays here 44 - 48's and a few Cruiser's

We have a real mix of boats on our dock. Starting with the side tie slip at the end of the dock is a 1941 fishing boat that was converted to a cruising trawler. Very nice boat. Next to it is a slip with two ~24' cuddy cabin cruisers. Then comes a ~35' wood trawler that could be a very nice coastal cruiser as it has a very proud bow. Then mine. Next to me is an old Mathews that's about 40'. It's undergoing a complete restoration after spending 48 hours beneath the water after it sank in its slip, followed by 3 years on the hard. The hull got completely dried out, twisted, warped and shrunk. The resto is not going well, but the owner does take it out from time to time. . Next to it is a ~55' house boat that's painted red/white/blue. I have not seen it leave the slip since I've been there. Next to the houseboat used to be an restored (not too well done) ~36' Chris Craft cruiser. It was sold and now there's a 280 Dancer in there.

From there on down toward the shore end of the dock the slips get smaller and there's an assortment of express cruisers, cuddy cabin boats and cabin cruisers of all makes.

I have an '07 340 DA right beside me (a good friend, we tie up almost every weekend). Lots of 50' - 65' houseboats. A couple of really cool go fast boats.

Below is a 42 Fountain Lightning about 5 slips down under cover. The owners are in their 80s and have an exact duplicate they keep on Lake Cumberland, Ky.

They made a fortune in the scrap metal business.

When I saw that first picture I thought maybe things turned around for old CSR member Crock1. Can't be him though, he wasn't that old.

Two different boats. The first boat is owned by a dentist.

One of my neighbors has a 1967 Egg Harbor, 37 footer, that he fully restored last year, including the pass-thru refrigerator from salon to galley. Great looking boat, lots of wood to maintain, but a classic beauty.

Did it look like my old slip neighbor's? He did all of his own work on it, I once saw it with a couple of planks removed from the side. The pass thru refrigerator still had the original compressor and worked fine. Loved being on that boat, reminded me of my dad's 1959 37' Colonial

Its changed in terms of kinds of boats there now. Fewer Sea Rays. used to have 4-5 560s, 510s, and a 540 or two but only a couple now. you probably remember Texas Tea or Miss Debbie from Pier 8, those big girls are gone now too. what boat/pier/slip? we've been at GTB since '02, Prizer Point before that. We were landlocked before we moved the boat to KY in '94. makes it awfully hard to get to Florida. Brother in law lives in Houston.

I like the Egg Harbor. neat looking boat. ...and the '51 Super-C too.

Very similar, but with a Flybridge.

I had a Riva a couple of slips down from me. Very sweet boat, twin V-12's in it, I think. The elderly couple used to go out on it every day to a local restaurant for lunch. But this past season they've had some health issues and I've only seen it out once.
