New Dash Panels - Flounder Pounder vs. Tecnografic

Did you install the TG panels? If so, how did you wire the backlight?
The TG panels come with new EL light wire installed in a engraved grove just like the original, and with a new ballast. I think there is a blue and yellow wire that you just splice in to the existing wire. If I recall, the wires go to the dimmer switch so that can dim your panel.

I ordered 2 panels for my 510 this winter. Sam was very helpful and I received each in less than 2 weeks and I ended up making 2 separate orders. The first order was a custom panel for my new VHF and the 2nd a replacement panel behind the helm which was a standard size.

On my 460 I used FP many times and Ken was always great but I like the Technografic panels much better. Next winter I will replace the FP panel where the Axioms are with a TG. To make it easy, I will remove the electronics and send Sam the panel to match. The finished edges are much nicer on TG.

There is always something to do on a boat. LOL

Did you get your rocker switch actuators from New Wire Marine? I saw several labels in your pictures that weren't shown as options on their website. Thanks

I ordered my dash with the Sea Ray logo back lit in blue, white during the day.

Will post pic's when I get the dash.

The Sea Ray logo is back lit with a florescent rope blue light. It's wound into the dash back and taped in place.

Yes I did. I had them make custom ones where needed. (My OCD coming out) LOL
Several of the switches on the bottom row were custom. The only one missing is the under water light switch which I added after this pic was taken. It filled the farthest right hand accessory spot on the lower row.

That looks excellent Orlando. What is that I see to the right of the throttles?

Thank you.

There are two Maretron DSM410's. The one right of the throttles is the system monitor, half of the screen is for non-engine alarms and the left half is for engine and generator alarms. The other screen lower left is for monitoring the generator and a repeat of the system monitor screen. It cycles through the two of them. The pic I posted caught both screens on that same screen. The System monitor (right one) does not change.
