The snap in carpet in my 97 250DA was on it's last legs and I really did not want to spend $600.00 plus for new as I would rather put it in the tank. I started looking at the foam interlocking flooring for like a excercise room or playroom and found a color I liked, Ordered it and installed it today.

Turned out nice and it is really nice & soft on the feet. I filled in the snap holes with 4200 and left about 1/4" margin around the edges, I really like it.:smt038Adds a nice contrast to the deck.

Sorry for the crappy pics, They were with my phone but I can get better ones if anyone is interested. I will let you know how it looks after this season.

That it Awesome. I have been holding off replacing my cockpit carpeting for the same reason $$$$. Where did you order from, if I may ask?

Got it on ebay, $64.00 shipped and i have 4 pieces left. I can get the id for the seller if needed. I know it's not as fancy as carpet but for the $$$ i will give it a shot.

For less than 1/10th of a boat buck I shall give it a shot. My carpet backing left a mess on my deck. I like the idea of cushion under my feet as well

TIA.

Look Great! I am thinking about carpet, but this is another option I will definitely check out.

Looks really good. ALso nice to have the ability to replace a section if you happen to stain or damage it. Do you have a link to the ebay supplier?

Did you end up using any of the edgeing strips?

Only one, The very front of the floor under where your feet are when at the helm, It just happened to work out that way, all the others were cut.

Careful it dosent get hot in the sun and burn your feet.

Bought a set of 4 blocks at Home Depot about 3 years ago. I use it at the helm only. I put that non slip carpet rubbery material under it. It has held up well but will fade, at least the stuff I used a little bit each year. For 16 bucks well worth it and comfortable onthe feet while standing. Sorry I didn't post a while ago +1

Yea for that price you could replace it every year for a decade if you needed to, and still make out ahead.

Looks pretty good!

I put some of those (in black) down on the floor of the engine room to cover the diamond plate floor. When I'm down there I'm on my knees and the padded tiles are much easier on these old knees.

I got 'em at Harbor Freight where they come in a package of 4 tiles.
