New boater

Last week, me and my wife made an offer on a 1999 310 and it was excepted. It has the 5.0L v-drives. I have been lurking on here since about 2008 when I came real close to buying a 280, but decided to buy a house instead. hat was around July of 2008,. Well Sept. came around and we had a Hurricane. Made a couple of post on here about it. Well fast forward to now and here we are Hoping to be boat owners. Right now the Stb. engine is out of it as it is getting replaced. Once that is in, we will get a survey done, Haul it out of the water, and then sea trial. If all goes well, we will have us a boat in a couple of weeks. We have a lot to learn and looking forward to it.

Welcome - moved up to the northwest from Houston in 2009, love Houston - (not as much as PNW ) - but we loved it. As you have been lurking you know lots of help on here - my fingers are crossed for you on the 310, Clearlake berthed I assume?
