Carter,
You are one classy guy! I have been following the posts about the sudden loss of Dom and then you come along and take the boat off the hands of his wife AND keep the boat name! WOW!
There are so many people in this world who would see this as an opportunity to take advantage of a widow. I read your announcement to the 410 family and had tears in my eyes. May Dom be your silent co-pilot and never lead you or your family astray. Smooth waters! Congratulations!

Carter...congrats on the new boat. I plan to swap out the TV in my 360DA next spring and I know Dom, replaced the TV's in the 410DA, so I may shoot you a PM next spring about the mounts he used, and how the TV's are secured.

Thanks guys,

Leaving the name out of respect for Dom was a true no-brainer.

Hopefully there is someone out there who needs a great '05 340. When we get everything transferred over to One Sweet Day, we'll list her on this site for a while...

I wish you and your family many years of safe and happy boating - From what I've read here, I'm sure Dom will be watching over you on every cruise.

One Sweet Day arrived at Island Cove Marina's travel lift yesterday. She spent yesterday and today on the blocks getting two coats of bottom paint and props hung. She was really filthy from her encounter and near escape from Sandy and the snows along I-81 in VA. It looks like she would have been wiped out if she would have stayed on the hard at Good Luck Point Marina. Thanks to J. O. Hudson Marine Transport for the extra effort to get her out of the Jersey Shore on Friday afternoon. He ran after dark and without a lead car to get her to safety. He will move all my future boats!

She tasted fresh water for the first time at 1400 today and she ran great for her 45 minute cruise to Chickamauga Marina - her new home. Now the reassembly begins...I know Dom was with me and was a little upset that I ran the genny the whole time the mains were running. Thanks Dom for all the care you gave her.

Carter,

I want a boat ride...........will you be around next week? I love OPF!

You mean OPDA!...Next week is going to be thin for me with boating. As I spent so much time back and forth and in NJ surveying and closing, it may have to wait another week...I'll keep you in the loop...
