Hello everyone!

I have just purchased a 1987 SeaRay Sorrento that is in fantastic shape. I am a little conserned about the position of the bunkboards on the trailer. I think they are just out side of the chines but I am not sure. I know just enough to be dangerous(hahah). I am still learning. I am posting pics and hopefully someone can tell me if the boards are in the correct location. The boards do extend past the transom and i know that part is correct. Any help would be great.

Thanks for your help. trailer small.JPG

I am not sure. Just to make sure the keel the very bottom of the hull that forms a V? I do believe it has rollers in the center of the trailer but didn't think the boat would rest on them, that being said I did not look that closely at it either.

Get a free photobucket account and post more pictures so we can see the entire setup. There is not enough information to advise you. Sorry, MM

Welcome Aboard!

As far as the placement of the bunk, it is just outside the "lifting strake", which is fine - that will help in centering the boat. The "chine" is the outer edge - where the boat bottom turns/transitions to the hull side. But, as mentioned above - need more pics for accurate advice.

Thanks for the reply. I will post more pics this weekend since my boat is in storage. I am feeling a lot better now. I was very worried that the bunks were in the wrong spot and was hurting the boat. I will post more pics soon. Thank you all once again can't wait to take her out for the first time this weekend.
