We bought a 92 400 EC and will be leaving it in the water over the winter. We did this last year with our 280 and had a Twin Hornert bilge heater, a cabin heater or two and a Marcell Sensored life cellular alarm with 8 hour updates on temp, humidity and power. The MarCell calls us until we answer if power is out or temp drops below our set point. We will be moving all this to the new boat. We have built an aluminum truss like what's used on stages for lighting that will set on the swim platform and go up from the back over the arch and set in front of the windshield. This will be placed in the center. I plan on draping a tarp over the truss and am trying to figure out how to secure the tarp on each side. Any tips on securing a tarp? I really want to use the boat during the winter and do not know how far I should go on the winterizing. We are 2 hours away from the marina and I can get away any time if needed. Any advice. We are in North Idaho.

I would say where you are you need to winterize as if you weren't going to be there for weeks.
