I just received my bimini top for my boat UPS today.
I am trying to figure out where to put the mounts for the main bow. The directions tell me to put the mounts on the flat surface on the top of the sides, tells me that have the forgiveness to the inside so the bow would go from outside in. I would like to install them at a 45 degree on a flat surface down inside the boat with the forgiveness to the outside. That way, the mount will not mess up my cover (I have a factory full, over the side, with a rope all the way around the boat, similar to those you buy aftermarket.)
I hope you guys understand what I am trying to describe. Do you see a problem with mounting on a flat surface at a 45 degree angle?
I looked at several factory bimini's, and they all mount on the windshield now days!!
