New 510- Photos? Thoughts?

I went by Prince William today and their show had started. N0 510 but I think they have at least one of every other Sport Yacht/Yacht in the Sea Ray line on display. I spoke with one of the salesmen who had been in Knoxville all week. He thinks the boat is not yet in production but is awaiting some fixes/improvements based on the prototype and that it won't really be in full production and "for sale" until next spring. He says Sea Ray is taking (and has gotten some) pre-orders.

The first production 510DA is in production in the line along the North wall in the Sykes Creek factory right now.

Salesmen make it up as they go.........me, I just go ask somebody.

Seems like this is good news for Sea Ray on the new 510da model.


"At least one dealer is happy with the new models — if MarineMax counts as one dealer with 53 locations.
“We’ve got a lot coming out of Sea Ray, which is good for us,” MarineMax president of charter and special initiatives Lex Raas said on Tuesday night at a FLIBS press event. “We’ve sold five of the 510s since they were introduced in September [in Tennessee]. You sell five boats on a boat that hasn’t been property debuted in a month, that’s the kind of excitement around this product.”
