New 41 sundancer

hate the video. Can Sea Ray please make a promo video that is REAL??? boats are great, this would turn off 80% of their market. How many wives would say "yeah, lets get that boat".

That is real Turtle, don't you get SeaRay Living. Our choices are a reflection of our individualism, like 'shaken, not stirred'. Maybe you just don't like martinis.

Check the specks and it will be short. That is 41 over all. The older boats were advertised on mean water line length. Still a cool boat; neat video. heck we have the same activity on my boat all the time. Of course the participants my have a few more pounds and there might be beer and margaritas instead of marines; but hey, the idea is the same.

The" dweeb " looks about as useful as a chocolate teapot. Nice description Bucit . The fancy gear would start to look a bit rough once the fish guts starts flying.

I saw it at the Ft. Lauderdale show yesterday and was not impressed, and based on the comments I overheard I'm not alone in my opinion. I always thought that SR does a great job at space utilization through out the entire product line. But here it looks like they put too much in a too small a space. As others have mentioned the new 410DA has a foot less beam than the 420DA and it terms of O/A dimensions is about the same as the 390DA. To me it looks like they threw a 2nd head in a 390DA and then made the holding tank 20% smaller:huh:. I did not look in the ER and like others, I'm not a big fan of the aft sunpad.

It's a handsome boat but for the entry 2 head Dancer I think the salon and cockpit need to be bigger. I'll be interested in seeing more comments from 420DA owners after they get to see the 410.

Love the porno music in that vid. Is there a PART II that was censored?

I saw the boat in Ft Lauderdale as well and agree with your thoughts. I was on the boat Thursday and a couple of dealers were touring the boat at the same time. It was interesting to hear their thoughts on the design. Most of the comments were not positive, but they also said Hull #1 is pretty much a prototype and will not be the final offering. One of the things everyone was complaining about was the manual closing soft top in the cockpit. It was just cheap.

In terms of other boats, the new finishes in the sports yachts and yachts are nice.

Just read a review of the Cruisers Cantius, which is similarly sized. Boating Magazine pointed out that the Cruisers has a power roof, compared to the manual one on the SR 410.

The guys at Marine Max said the roof will probably be power by the time it's actually for sale.

Does not look like much of any head room in the cockpit....

I think the size is great! On our lake we can't handle 48' yachts but this one is perfect for those of us that want 2 heads and the ability to have enclosed cockpit (our boat goes in first week of april and gets pulled nov 1st) It is cold at the beginning and end of the season. For me this would be the perfect boat sans the price :(
