Neutral Safety Switch

Hi,
I have a 1978 SRV 240. My Safety Switch in the throttle went bad. It is a V3L-16-D8. Cannot find it anywhere. No cross reference. Seems to be a Honeywell switch. So far the closest I can find is the V7 series, but the arm is too short. I contacted Honeywell but have not heard back yet. Any suggestions?

For now by-pass the neutral safety untill you find it or replace the control box and just remember no to start the motor in gear.

I have the same boat and just discovered that mine was broken this afternoon. Same part and I am sure there is a replacement for it but I'm not sure what to get. Please post if you find a replacement switch. I will do the same.

I checked those and they are both slightly different than the V3L-16-D8 in regard to the contact arm. Both carry the same electrical ratings though. I believe that the V3L-6-D8 will work with a little tweaking...
