Need sunpad cover latch post part

I checked http://www.searay-parts.com and found this www.searay-parts.com/Sundeck-latch-1219948-p/1219948 sundeck latch.htm which is $51 shipped, and I also sent a request to marinemax about the part but in the meantime I thought I'd ask the knowledgeable and helpful folks at clubsearay. The steel latch post that comes out of my engine cover and goes into the bottom of the sunpad hatch latch (#7 below) came loose and was lost on my last trip. I would like to find another post but not have to buy another latch and post from searay-parts.com. Does anyone have a suggestion on where to look for a replacement other than the places I've mentioned already? The location of the part I need is at the end of the red arrow in the picture from the parts manual below. Thanks for the help.

I beleive this is the same post used on SeaDoo jetskis! Worth a look - mid 1990's models for sure. Look on Ebay

Thanks for the great tip! I found a SeaDoo latch post on ebay for $.99 with $5 shipping which looks like it will work. At $6, at least I'm not risking a lot of cash to check it out.
