Hey all looking for some prop advice for my boat I would like to have better out of the hole. Currently I have a 5 high stainless 19 pitch on my boat is a 2001 Sea Ray 190BR 5.0l EFI Alpha 1 gearing 1.62 Ratio. Currently I can do 47mph at 4800rpm and there is more throttle there if I put all the way down it will rev to 5200rpm and will not go faster just over revs. I don’t really care much about going fast just want something that is reAlly good With hole shot and getting on and off throttle at lower speeds. What you guys suggest?

You've already got a great prop on there. The only thing you can do is pitch down - realizing you're already lower than you "should" be - but of course you can avoid over-revving with the throttle. I'm surprised you need more, though - that's a big engine for a small boat. I've run all kinds of combinations of 190's and with the V8 EFI, it's a rocket out of the hole.

If you really want to make a big difference, go a different direction (without changing your prop). Install a set of Smart Tabs. It might be difficult given the transom shape on your boat - but talk to them about it. It will be a night and day difference.

You're using full down trim for the hole shot, right?

Yes correct full down trim for hole shot. I have been trying to get some knowledge on props as I don’t really get the whole pitch stuff. Just to me my 5 blade the blades look small compare to my 3 blade aluminum has much bigger blades. Kind of thinking my 5 blade the diameter is to small and it is not cupping enough water. Not sure my thoughts
