Good Evening, I am new to the group but not to sea ray.
I am trying to get help with detailing/restoring our 1971 19' sea ray. The turquoise/aqua fiberglass needs some attention where the boat has been loaded onto a trailor for years. We just want to protect the fiberglass and wondered about patch material and glazing. The other item we would like to correct is the three button up, up/out, in button control. We were told it could not be corrected. It does work but you have to use the up/out control to lift. The Up button does not work.
Otherwise this boat is in great/perfect condition. We have babied her for years. All origional. We are detailing her this winter so she is ready for the next ski season.
Any help would be appreciated. The Sea ray company sent me to you because they said they could offer no help. Their records only go back to 1987.
Thank you for any knowledge you can offer.
Deborah

As far as the glass work is concerned, I'm the last man to help out. I would love to see some pics of the lovely classic. I have a 73, SRV 240. I like the look ov an older boat.

I'll do what I can to help on any Buffing, Wetsanding, Polishing & Vinyl Care advice.

I don't do any Fiberglass Repair or Patching, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn last night. :smt043

J/K. I do have a few friends that do major/minor Fiberglass Repair on Powerboats, so I can put you in their direction. You might want to wait on the detailing if you need fiberglass repair.
