My stereo went on me and im looking for a new one and just thought Id ask if anyone knew of a good one that would suit me for my needs?
I need to stay under $200.00 so lets keep that in mind,Im looking for a radio that will allow me to play a Ipod "doesnt matter if a separate cord is needed,just be capable to play one"
I also need a remote,this is the most important feature for me. My old radio had a wireless remote and it worked ok,but I had to bend my arm in my cabin door to get it at the right angle to get it to work from the cockpit,because the remote had to see the radio for it to work.
I know they got the wired versions that would work well for times like that but I dont feel like running a wire and or cutting another hole in the dash.
Is there any radios with wireless remotes that just work without being in sight of the radio? Like if im sitting in back of the boat and get a phone call or something I would just like to reach in my pocket grab the remote and mute the radio,rather then running to the cockpit or trying to aim a remote looking for the right angle for it to work :smt101
