Hi everyone!
I'm not new to boating, but am new to owning one large enough that requires winterizing water lines. My buddy who has a Rinker was going to help me remove the input/output lines on the water heater, and noted that they don't come apart as easy as his. Is there a trick or tool to un-doing the lines on the Sea Rays?

The lines should be threaded on to the tank. On the quick-connect fittings, there should be a "C" clip on the collar... remove it and push the collar in (and hold it in) and pull the hose out.

Welcome to CSR!

That may not be a good thing! :smt001

Just to jump on what Jim mentioned... make a mark where the line enters the fitting before you take it apart. Make sure you push it back in far enough so it doesn't leak. Check out the '99-'04 260 Sundancer thread. Also look for 'by-passing' the hot water system and fresh water tank threads. I've done a couple 'how-to's (as have others) and videos on this - ways to make it easier.
