Need help on hatch to cabin

Working on redoing my 1987 . 270 amberjack hardtop and have an issue on the folding hatch going to the cabin . Theres a piece of teak on the hatch that covers the hinge is this a single piece that over laps the two doors or is it broke into 2 pieces at the crack. I think its one piece but seems the would open a little funny,I can tell my piece of teak is broke off gonna try to add picture thanks for any help

thats great thats what Ithought it should look like mines broke at the step tried to add picture but challange with reducing file size thanks Ill build a new one

well to late to do any good but good practice heres pics redoing all teak re painted dashhave bottom striped except for under trailer redoing all side panels
