Need help identifying this

This was swimming by my dock in Newport, RI a couple of days ago. It's about 1 1/2 feet long. Any ideas?

Looks like a ribbon eel.

Only problem with the ribbon eel is, they are native to the Pacific, not the Atlantic. Cutlass fish came to mind, but tough to tell from the video.

My kids and I once saw a tropical fish off that same dock....you never know how "non native" stuff ends up in there.

Yeah, I'm visiting Mexico and went on a lionfish hunt. Unfortunately I didn't bring a camera. Another diver will be sending me pictures though. Killed 12 of the bastages and the mate cleaned them for my dinner. Lionfish is delicious.
