Need help...engine hatch won't close

I opened the engine hatch to perform some routine maintenance. Pushed the button to close it and there is a click, but it will not go down. I'm on shore power. Nothing is obstructing it from going down. Can't figure out what the issue could be. Any suggestions appreciated.

Disregard and thank you to the forum. Searching the threads I was able to ascertain that the door at the transom was loose and so the magnet was not engaging and was preventing the hatch from engaging. Silver sponsorship paid for itself right there. ;-)

Saved me scrapping my afternoon and a 1.5 hour round trip to the boat to work with my mechanic to fix this. Thanks again.

Pseudo - 380's don't have the magnet/safety switch.
