Need help ASAP- draining coolant, Cat 3208

Trying to figure out locations of plugs/drains to remove for coolant change on my 3208's.
Operation & Maint. manual says "Remove cooling system drain plugs". Mechanics did it for me 2 yrs ago, shame on me for not watching...

Can anyone tell me the location(s) of what needs to be removed for most complete drainage? Is there more than one block drain? Engine oil cooler?

Mike,

Caterpillar used solid tubing for some bends and long coolant runs on the cooling system. On my engines the drain plug (I have only 1/engine with inline 6's) are pretty well hidden under bends at the lowest point in the cooling system. Look near the water pump/heat exchanger on the front of the engines.

Also, these are threaded plugs with o-ring seals, not tapered threads. If your are the same, check the o-rings for cracks and replace if needed.

I'm wondering if there's one on each side of the block since they're V-8's?
