Went to the boat today and had the following issues:
-Switch in the galley switchboard for hot water heater would not stay "on". As soon as I would switch it on, it would trip to the off position.
-Turned on bilge fan in preparation to start engine. Engine then started normal. As soon as I unplugged the shore power, bilge fan cut off and an beeping alarm started sounding. Engine continued to run normal (noticed fuel gauge was dead). Turned off engine.
-Previous time at boat, I was plugged to shore power and just there one night after work cleaning things up. I had the radio on and the GPS on. When I turned on interior lights, radio and GPS power would cut out/on.
Suggestions? I am hoping someone else might have had similar issues. I reported it to the yard service center and they are supposed to check it out soon. Would like a clue from someone else so that I can feel more confident in the yard mechanics assessment.
Thanks,
Ed
