I have not heard they are repairable. From the number on the back of the ECM I can trace the technology such as MEFI-1, MEFI-2 and so on. I have one for sale 12575479 MEFI-4a, however its for a 454 7.4L
This is an excerpt from the mechanics testing. I had read that ECM's could be repaired, so i may look into that, but it's likely easier to buy a salvaged one. Getting quoted $3800 CAD for a new one.
water pressure of 3.5 psi but still had a high input seawater fault on diagnostics.
switched ecm from one engine to the other, low pressure and
high input fault followed ecm to stbd engine, both engines at that time were showing oil pressure sensor faults.
returned ecm to proper engines,
