Need Dinghy Repair Help!

I have an Achilles inflatable and the port side tube is loosing air. Brought it to a repair shop and the guy told me the valve base is leaking at the threads. Seems like it was cross threaded? Anyway, I found a tap from a friend and he rethreaded the valve base and it slowed down the leak. Is there any product I could put on the threads that may help? Teflon tape? Pipe dope? 4200?

Jim, go on their Website I'm sure they can point you in the right direction. My Dink is an off brand and came with spare Valve heads, and they have an adjustible one way valve inside!

Jim I'd take it to the dealer and they can change the valve for you.
