Need closet door light switch

My closet push button light switch is intermittantly not turning on when I open the closet door. The white button is springing out as it is supposed to and there is a constant 12v from the wires - It is definitely a defective switch.

I have looked on Flounder Pounder and Great Lakes online and at a local West Marine store with no success.

Advice on where to purchase this switch would be appreciated.

Try spraying contact cleaner, probably all it needs

Looks pretty dang easy to retrofit a different button.

I looked at mine and it looks like a simple pin switch so as long as it still springs all the way in and out the contact cleaner may work.

Old thread but need the same switch. I can't make out the mfg of the switch and have searched with no results.

I had the same issue. I purchase white plastic refrigerator door switches I purchased off amazon. I’m pretty sure I have a write up on here somewhere.

I looked at amazon and the diameter is different....need to drill the hole out going this route. 5/8" diameter is the OEM switch. Thought this would be simple plug in and use.
