Need Clarion Speakers

Please if anyone has a pair of Clarion CM 262 speakers I am in need of a pair either new or in good used condition, or if anyone knows a suitable update / replacement speaker that will fit & sound the same or better without altering anything, that info would be greatly appreciated. I believe they are 6 & 1/2"

I have a 10" sub wof I replaced. It is still in good shape if you are interested
 
Hello, I replaced my clarions with cmq 1620r clarion speakers... sound wonderful... try onlinecarstereo.com have done business several time great dealer... good luck and keep us posted...

There is nothing special about Clalrion speakers. I'm sure you can find 6.5" replacement speakers anywhere. West Marine and other stores carry them. Go to www.Crutchfield.com for "official" Clarion speakers.

I replaced mine with a set of JL Audio MX650 speakers I bought through the internet from woofersetc on eBay for about US $175. I am located in Ontario as well. They are nice sounding units if you are replacing the stock speakers and not adding high power amps.
 
Oh, there is also a Crutchfield.ca Canadian site and their warehouse is in Mississauga. Their prices are in $CDN and there is no added duty and free shipping over $50 order. The selection is not as good as their US site though and limited marine audio, but they do have some 6.5" speakers. I did buy my in-cabin replacements from them but decided since they are in the cabin, I could go with the car versions of the JL Audio speakers which they had in stock in Canada. Shipping was fast since it came from Mississauga.

Thank you everyone for the ideas & info, bought a pair of CMQ1620R on E Bay for $68.00 + shipping. Clarion here in Canada wanted $170.00 +13% HST

Interesting note......the E bay seller charges $35.00 shipping here to Canada as they are in New York, but the seller declares themselves to be a licenced importer for Canada & the $35.00 includes all taxes, duty ,brokerage & HST. With a 99.6% feedback & thousands of transactions, figured I'd do it so I am all in for $103.00 CAN$$$

Fyi... while you are replacing your speakers if you want better sound you should replace the current wire for the speakers with real speaker wire. I know in mine they had just used 14ga copper wire and I replaced with good speaker wire and wow what a difference. But its not a have too.. good luck let us know what you think...
