Need advice....please

I have a 75 sea ray and hit half throttle and quit moving... We smelt burnt rubber and the local marina said it was the engine coupler...I have removed the engine and cant figure out how to remove the coupler... All the pics on websites show bolts holding it on but mine is on the yoke running out to the sterndrive...Any advice would be greatly appreciated....

Not really sure but isn't t here an access panel on the rear of the sterndrive, where you take it off and there's a big nut holding it...been a whille....

not sure either...the marina said i would have to pull the engine to get to it...last time i was in the sterndrive i had to drop the entire thing....it has been a headache all the way...normally is it a have to case to drop the sterndrive and pull the engine to change couplers???
