I have a 2005 Amberjack that I am updating. Its time for new carpet and I am looking for advice from folks that know how its done. Looking for costs estiamtes, things to watch for and good solutions. Thanks

Thats exactly what I am thinking for the floor and steps down. I think they call it Dry Deck or something like that. Teak and Holly look.if you really want to dress up the cabin go with vinyl plank flooring....several members have done so and it looks great and it is low maintenance....a dock friend just installed this flooring in his 38' Chaparral and it turned out really nice....he is going to help me do my boat this winter.....

I was afraid of that. One of the guys that looked at it said the same thing. Fortunatley there is not much square footage below. Having to install it under the cabinets looks to be a challenge also as I think they will have to move them.the salon carpet is a bitch to get up - it will come off in pieces the size of a quarter
