Need advice. Looking at 44DB.

Larry- are you financing through Sea Ray? Depending on the rate, you may want to consider Scott Financial (http://www.marineloan.com/). They have great rates and even better service.... just a thought! Good luck!!!!

Larry- long time no hear, what's happening with the 44?

(To be honest, in addition to my excitement for you, I'm dying to find out how well the A/C works on your new boat).

Well, I did it. Pulled the trigger last week and took her out this past weekend. Went down to Point Lookout for a Bluegrass festival and had a great time. A bunch of little things need fixing, but Prince William Marina has probably already fixed them all.

Headed back to Annapolis after the Labor Day weekend and then onto some serious bay cruisin'.

Thanks to Tim (Prodigalson) for all his advice and encouragement.

Congratulations Larry! That's awesome.

I will definitely want to hear from you how your A/C does... especially this weekend with the heat.

If you want a little shakedown cruise, c'mon over to the Hyatt in Cambridge next week... it looks like we'll be there from Tuesday through Friday. I'm really looking forward to the help from their dockhands!

Tim, thanks.

I took my brother, and his wife and three kids, out this last Saturday afternoon. I can honestly say the cabin door was opened and closed at least 1000 times. While it wasn't "meat locker" cold, it was pleasant inside. I'm just spoiled by all my previous boats, all express cruisers, and how cold the cabin could get.

I think we might want to do a side by side comparison of cabin temps. On that note, I can't make Cambridge this week, but I've never been there and I hear it's VERY nice. I'm going to talk to the admiral and see if she wants to head over there the weekend of the 14th through 16th of September. It'll be a couple of nights at two bucks a foot. From what I've heard about the restaurants, we'll probably dine out one night just to try it and grill the rest of the meals. If you're interested I'd love to have those two sedan bridges docked side by side  Of course, anyone else on the board is also welcome.

As a backup, we can try to do something for Columbus Day weekend.

What do you think?
