My son is looking for a 23-27 ft center console to fish with. He sent me some finds on a website www.boatsdepot.org. I think something is fishy here ( no pun intended) as there are hundreds of boats listed with full specs but they are priced at 1/4 to 1/3 of what I think is a realistic price.
Has anyone dealt with this site before? It looks to me like an entire website full of those unrealistic Craigslist scams that we see sometimes

I think you have to say, if it sounds to good to be true.... I am always a little hesitant to deal with a company that hides behind an email, no phone number offered to contact them on the "About Us" page.

But, if somebody has dealt with them, I'd love to know.

Just browsed through some more, and recognized boats from other sites. I think this is a scam, farming photos & specs from legitimate listings.

Some of the boats have the Coast Guard registration numbers on them. Run the numbers to get ahold of the owner to see if they listed them.

It's a total scam. They have you send your money outside the USA to a Swiss bank, do not deliver the car and wont refund your money. You would do just as well throwing your money into the toilet, flush it and watch it go round and round, as a matter of fact that's as close as his money will get him to water.

on the contact tab for a boat you get a pop up with this language.

IMPORTANT:
WE DONT SELL ANY BOAT HERE LISTED.
WE DONT GET ANY COMISSION OF BOATS SELLED HERE

It clearly states that don't sell any boat here listed so they are not lying!

I also like the second line of "selled here"
