Need a replacement cap (for an indirect light)

My last two boats have had those little caps over the lights under the stairs and around the cockpit floor - the caps that are always falling off. Now I'm missing a cap. I know I can order the entire assembly (cost is around $80), I'm wondering if anyone here has found a place where you can just get the cap (the cover that is supposed to snap on the outside) by itself?

I'd also be curious what tricks everyone has used to get these things to stay on - best I've come up with is to just silicon them on.

I never did, I paid for the entire piece, pulled the cap off and used it and put the bulb part into my spare parts box. Sorry.

Does anyone know what site this light can be ordered from? I have the same problem with the missing cover and would like to just replace the whole light. Thanks!

If anyone is interested I can let you know how it goes. I may try to use the extra light to add to another step or illuminate the liquor cabinet I added where the tv was.
